� 2004-07-05 Fireworks We had a very nice fourth of July weekend. Saturday we took the kids to see Spiderman 2, which was fabulous. We all loved it, even more then the first one. Jared insisted we sit at the very top of the theater, and he felt very big and special up there. The rest of the day we just hung out at home, let the kids swim in the pool, and played games. Yesterday we did a lot more of the lazy thing, and then got ourselves together and went out to the fireworks. We were sort of disappointed, because where they held them last year was not where they held them this year, and even though their web site stated that you could see the fireworks from any spot in town, this wasn't true. We did see them, and they were pretty, but they were quite far away. Anyway, the kids got to play on the play equipment right until the sky turned dark, and so they were perfectly happy : ) I also heard many oohs and aahs from the kids, so it wasn't bad. Today we have been playing board games and watching videos all day (talk about lazy), and now we are preparing to go drive over to Breeanas new school, so she will know her way around, and where to go on Thursday. I hope that both of the kids are very happy with their new surroundings this year, I am sort of worried about Jared, he is very shy, but I am trying to keep positive thoughts at the same time making sure he is prepared. Ok, I am off to put on my shoes, and head out the door. I hope everyone had a great fourth!
