� 2004-06-20 Happy Fathers Day We had such a busy weekend. Friday night we went to our friends house for dinner and had a great time. They barbecued, the guys chatted, the kids played, and us ladies had a nice time catching up. My other friend E. and her daughter came as well, and so the kids all had a blast playing together. They did however turn the tiny pool in the backyard into a mud bath. Saturday morning we had to get up super early and take Jared over to register him for golf. I have never seen him so thrilled about anything in his life. Once we got there, we realized it wasn't too late to sign up Breeana as well, and so we did. She wasn't overly thrilled by the idea, but I think it will be a good thing for her. So, the kids split up into groups, and they did some practicing, and learning about golfing terms, etc.. and by the time they were done, both of the kids were smiling. It will be on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and it is a great program. After that we headed out to Stockton, to Richards company picnic. They had rented a bounce house, which the kids immediately ran to. It was held in a beautiful park, with several areas to fish, paddle boat, and picnic. Richard played volleyball, we all paddle boated, and we fished. We also ate way too much food, but it was a lot of fun. We got home around four, and were very lazy the rest of the day. Today is Fathers day, so we will try to make it a fun day for Richard. The kids made him many presents, I bought him a few things as well, and we are going to take him out for ice cream. He is still sleeping now, so I think I will get started on his breakfast.
