On September 13th we will have a birthday party to celebrate my baby turning nine years old. I still can't believe she isn't a baby anymore. I remember the smell of her baby breath, the way her skin was so soft and plump, and the way she looked at me with those big blue eyes, so in love with her mommy. Now it is rare to get a hug. She is too cool for me. I have no fashion sense, and I am far too strict in her opinion. I do however, sneak into her room while she is sleeping to snuggle her, and although her breath is no longer sweet, and mostly her skin in bruised(tomboy), she still is my sweet angel girl.
