He is six!!

It was a very nice weekend. My Mom, Ron, and my little (ok, she's 15, not little) step sister Robin came up Friday afternoon, and since they were here so early we rented some movies and barbecued. Saturday morning we decorated for the party, and ran some errands, and then stopped for pizza before running home to greet Jareds guests. Jareds friend Elijah was able to come to his party, yay! His father called a little after the party started and said "can I drop Elijah off?" So, he was late, and his parents are a bit inconsiderate, but oh well. His other two friends made it also, and they all had a great time. We played pin the spider on Spiderman, bean bag toss, and we bashed in the pinata. We had cake and ice cream and opened gifts, and then the kids ran wild. My sister Catie had gotten him a tent, and the kids thought it was the best thing. They were super noisy, but really very good. It was a big success in Jareds mind, and that made me happy. After everyone had left we all went out for dinner, and had a nice time talking and just being together. Today my Mom left and we let Jared spend his birthday money, and exchange a few duplicate gifts. All in all, a good time : )
